Together

Together

We hold hands and walk closely, through the park
I catch your silhouette, cast by the sun
In my chest, heart thuds, unseen in the dark

A time that I honor, when day is done
The spark in your eye, my doubts will abate
Relaxing, knowing, your love I have won.

Our feelings for each other have great weight
We do know each other’s deepest secrets
Together, forever, may be our fate

I am sure that, we’ll withstand any threats
Yes, our love will endure, against all bets
